P.A.W.S. PRESENTS: CAMP HUMANE

 P.A.W.S. Presents: Camp Humane is a one-day camp, held twice a year for  Elementary and Middle school students. P.A.W.S. has teamed up with the San  Antonio Humane Society and invites 60 students to meet at Harlandale HS and  learn about responsible pet ownership. We also discuss how to prevent animal  cruelty.

 After games and educational projects, campers create pet toys for shelter  animals. Then the take a bus and take tours of the San  Antonio Humane  Society and participate in special sessions to play with  kittens and puppies to  learn how to properly interact with them.

 P.A.W.S. has also teamned up with MMK9 to give students the opportunity to  learn how to train dogs and read body language. This is special presentation so  students can learn why dogs are motivated to do what they do.
